This tutorial is of my own creation and any resemblance to any other tuts is purely coincidental. This tutorial is for personal use only, using it for monetary gain is against our TOU's.

Supplies Needed:

~Gimp (any version will do).

~Tube of choice. I used the artwork of Angela Newman, you must have a license to use this art which you can now get HERE.

~These Tears PTU scrapkit by Tasha's Playground.

~Font of choice. I used Pupcat.

Let's get started!!!!!

1. Open a new layer ( I prefer a large canvas, so I make mine 1050x656). Make your canvas transparent (Layer > Transparency > Color to alpha).

2. Open Frame 4, add drop shadow (Filters > Light & Shadow > Drop Shadow).

3. Open Paper 4 center it behind Frame 4, remove excess paper using a cutting tool or eraser.

4. Open tube, add drop shadow.

5. Open and place the following elements:

Scatter 1
Flower 1
Flower 2
Deco 1
Keyhole
Keys
Raindrops
Button
Clock
Paper
Box
Hearts
Bottle
Crow

~Some elements may need to be sized down. Using the Scale Tool in your tool box adjust pixels to desired size~

~Add drop shadow to all elements (except Scatter 1 & Raindrops)~

6. Merge layers (Image > Merge Visible Layer).

7. Crop image (Image > Autocrop Image).

8. Scale image to desired size (Image > Scale Image).

9. Add copyright info and name.

10. Save as .png

PTU kit Pretty Pink Princess from A Taggers Scrap
Tube of choice. I am using the art of verymany. You must have a license to use these tubes. Purchase the one I used at Pics For Design 
Font- Dancing Script
-File>New 600x600 px.
-Open frame 15. Layer>Scale Layer 75%. Place in the center of the canvas. Select the fuzzy select tool (magic wand). Click inside the frame. Select>Grow 5. Open paper 23. Layer>Transparency>Add Alpha Channel. Scale 60%. Select>Invert. Press delete on keyboard. Select>None. Make frame active. Filters>Light & Shadow>Drop Shadow 2, 2, 5, black, 50.
-Open frame 13. Make the bottom layer.
-Open tube. Make the top layer. Scale 40%. Place to the right of tag. Repeat drop shadow.
-Open frame 9. Place below tube layer in the layer box. Scale 50%. Place at the top left of tag. Select the magic wand. Press shift on keyboard and click inside the 1st & 3rd circles of frame. Grow by 5. Open paper 31. Move below this frame layer in the layer box.  Add alpha channel. Scale 60%. Place in selection. Invert & Delete. Open tube. Place in selection. Delete. Select none. Change the mode to screen. Repeat for the middle circle of frame using paper 29. Repeat drop shadow on frame.
-Open flower floor. Move below tube layer. Scale 75%. Place below tube layer. Repeat drop shadow.
-Open flower 10. Move below tube layer in layer box. Scale 35%. Place on the 1st 'string' of small circle frames. Layer>Duplicate. Scale 75%. Place on the 2nd string of frame. Duplicate. Scale 75%. Place on 3rd string of frame. Make the frame active. Select the eraser tool. Erase the string above the flowers.

Gimp or program of choice
Tube of choice. I am using the art of Zlata M. You must have a license to use these tubes. Purchase the one I used at The PSP Project.
PTU kit Summer Lolita from Tasha's Playground.
Mask- 352 from weescotslass
Font- Frosting for Breakfast
-File>New 600x600 px.
-Open frame 5. Layer>Scale Layer 75%. Place toward the left side of canvas. Select the fuzzy select tool (magic wand). Click inside the frame. Select>Grow 5. Open paper 5. Move below the frame layer in the layer box. Layer>Transparency>Add Alpha Channel. Select>Invert. Press delete on your keyboard. Select>None. Make the frame active. Filters>Light & Shadow>Drop Shadow 2, 2, 5, black, 50.
-Open tube. Make the top layer. Scale 50%. Place towards the right side of frame. Repeat drop shadow. Layer>Duplicate Layer. Filters>Blur>Gaussian Blur on default. Change the mode to soft light and lower the opacity to 35.
-Open frame 4. Make the bottom layer. Scale 75%. Place to the right side of tube. Add paper 3 (repeat above). Repeat drop shadow on frame.
-Open frame 3. Move below tube layer. Scale 85%. Select the rotate tool and click canvas. In the angle box put -20. Place frame to the left side of tag. Select the magic wand. While pressing shift on your keyboard, click inside each of the 4 frames. Grow 2. Layer>New Layer. Move this new layer below the film strip frame layer. Change your foreground color to a60300. Change your background color to white. Select the blend tool. Gradient: FG TO BG (RGB), Shape: Linear. Click the top left part of selection and drag down to the bottom right part of selection. Open tube. Move below film strip layer. Scale 60%. Place in selection. Invert & delete. Select none. Change the mode to grain merge. Make the frame active and repeat drop shadow.

Supplies Needed:

~Gimp (any version will do).

~Hello PTU scrapkit by Sweet Cravings Scraps.

 ~Tube of choice. I used the artwork of Suzanne Woolcott, you must have a license to use this art which you can get from HERE.

~Mask of choice. I used HPD mask 10 which you can get HERE.

~Font of choice. I used 1 Snappy DNA.

Let's get started!!!!!

1. Open a new layer ( I prefer a large canvas, so I make mine 1050x656). Make your canvas transparent (Layer > Transparency > Color to alpha).

2. Open Frame 1 (rectangle), add drop shadow (Filters > Light & Shadow > Drop Shadow).

3. Open Paper 13 center it behind Frame 1, remove excess paper using a cutting tool or eraser.

4. Open Frame 2 (stick frame), place it under Frame 1 & Paper 13 in your layer box. Add drop shadow.

5. Open tube, add drop shadow.

6. Open and place the following elements:

Swirl 2
Basket
Flower Pot
Flower 3
Flower 4
Flower 6
Flower 10
 Flower Shower 2
Leaf 1
Clock 1
Frog
Lambs

~Some elements may need to be sized down. Using the Scale Tool in your tool box adjust pixels to desired size~

~Add drop shadow to all elements (except Flower Shower 2)~

7. Open Paper 10

8. Open mask

9. Add mask to paper (click HERE for a tut on using masks).

10. Merge layers (Image > Merge Visible Layer).

11. Crop image (Image > Autocrop Image).

12. Scale image to desired size (Image > Scale Image).

13. Add copyright info and name.

14. Save as .png

Template- 184 from Addictive Templates.
Font- Scorched Earth
 -Open template. Delete credits. Image>Scale Image 450x450 px. Image>Canvas Size 600x600 px and click center.
-Let's add papers to the template layers. Make the template layer active (see below). Right click template layer in layer box and choose alpha to selection. Open paper (see below). Right click paper layer in layer box and choose add alpha channel. Select>Invert. Press delete on your keyboard. Select>None. Filters>Light & Shadow>Drop Shadow  2, 2, 5, black, 80. Delete the original template layer. Here are the template layers and which papers I used:
raster 8- paper 8
raster 2- paper 4
raster 3 & copy of raster 3- paper 9
raster 5- paper 6
copy of raster 4- paper 1
raster 4- paper 2
raster 9 & copy of raster 9- paper 5
-Make copy of raster 6 active. Alpha to selection. Open paper 2. Place in selection. Add alpha channel. Invert & delete. Open tube. Place in selection. Delete. Select>None. Change the mode of the tube to value. Repeat drop shadow on tube layer. Repeat above for raster 6 but use paper 1. I didn't add a drop shadow to the tube this time.
-Make raster 7 active. Colors>Colorize. Hue: 78, Saturation: 49, Lightness: -40. Filters>Noise>RGB Noise. Change all sliders (except alpha) to 0.35. Repeat drop shadow.
-Make copy of raster 7 active. Colorize: Hue: 201, Saturation: 15, Lightness: -43. Repeat noise and drop shadow.
-Open tube. Make the top layer. Layer>Scale Layer 55%. Place in center of tag. Repeat drop shadow. Layer>Duplicate Layer. Filters>Blur
-Open frame 1. Move below the 2 blue glitter circle layers in the layer box. Scale 75%. Select the rotate tool and click canvas. In the angle box put 15. Place in the center of tag. Repeat drop shadow.

FTU kit Mixed On May from Tasha's Playground
Template 242 from Millie's PSP Madness
Mask- Big Mask 006 from Vix
Font- Pinyon Script
 -Open template. Image>Scale Image 450x379 px. Image>Canvas Size 600x600 px and click center.
-Let's add papers to the template layers. Make the template layer active (see below). Right click template layer in layer box and choose alpha to selection. Open paper (see below). Right click paper layer in layer box and choose add alpha channel. Layer>Scale Layer 65%. Select>Invert. Press delete on your keyboard. Select>None. Filters>Light & Shadow>Drop Shadow  2, 2, 5, black, 50. Delete the original template layer. Here are the template layers and which papers I used:
12- paper 2 (no drop shadow)
7 & 8- paper 1
6- paper 4
5- paper 2
3 & 4- paper 3
1& 2- paper 3 (scale paper 45)
-Make layer 1 active. Alpha to selection. Set your foreground color to f1478c. Select the bucket fill tool and fill selection. Select none. Repeat drop shadow.
-Make layer 9 active. Alpha to selection. Bucket fill with same pink. Select none. Filters>Noise>RGB Noise. Change all sliders (except alpha) to 0.50. Repeat drop shadow. Repeat for layer 10.
-Open tube. Make top layer. Scale 30%. Place in center of tag. Repeat drop shadow. Layer>Duplicate Layer. Filters>Blur>Gaussian Blur on default. Change the mode to soft light and lower the opacity to 50.
-Open deco. Make the bottom layer. Scale 65%. Place to the upper left of tag. Duplicate. Layer>Layer To Image Size. Select the flip tool. Click canvas. Press ctrl and click canvas. Move duplicate layer above pink circle paper layer. Repeat drop shadow on both deco layers.
Elements:
(repeat drop shadow on all elements layers unless otherwise noted)
grass (duplicate & flip)

ribbon (flip while pressing ctrl)

-Open paper 4. Make the bottom layer. Apply mask. Click HERE to learn how to use masks in Gimp. Once you've applied the mask, scale layer 85%. Open paper 3 and apply mask again. Scale 75%. Flip. Now flip again while pressing ctrl.

PTU kit Memories from Tasha's Playground. You can purchase this kit exclusively at DSI.
Tube of choice. I am using the art of Ismael Rac. You must have a proper license to use these tubes. Purchase them at his store HERE.
Mask- Vix_Mask 452 from Vix
Font- Marguerite
-File>New 600x600 px.
-Open frame 3. Layer>Scale Layer 65%. Select the rotate tool. Click canvas and in the angle box put -15. Place frame in center of canvas. Select the fuzzy select tool (magic wand) and click inside the frame. Select>Grow 5. Open paper 8. Move below the frame layer in the layer box. Layer>Transparency>Add Alpha Channel. Scale 65%. Place paper in selection. Select>Invert. Press delete on keyboard. Open tube. Make the top layer. Place in selection. Layer>Duplicate Layer. Move duplicate tube below frame layer. Delete. Select>None.
-Make the top tube layer active. Filters>Light & Shadow>Drop Shadow 2, 2, 5, black, 50. Duplicate. Filters>Blur>Gaussian Blur on default. Change the mode to overlay. Make all the layers invisible (except the top tube and blurred tube layer). To do that, click the eye next to each layer in the layer box. Right click one of the visible layers in the layer box and choose Merge Visible Layers. Make all layers visible. Make sure the top tube layer is active. Select the eraser tool and erase the bottom part of the tube so it looks like she is sticking outside the frame.
-Make the frame active. Repeat drop shadow.
-Open frame again. Make the bottom layer. Scale 85%. Place in the center of tag. Add drop shadow of 0, 0, 10, black, 50.
-Open fence. Move below tube layer in layer box. Scale 65%. Place to the bottom right of tag. Duplicate. Place duplicate to the top left of tag. Add drop shadow of 2, 2, 5, black, 50 to both fence layers.
Other elements:
 clock
ribbon
 flowers
rose
scatter
sparkle
bottle (rotate -90)
flower 6
hair pin (rotate 15)
leaves 2
butterfly (rotate 25, Duplicate, flip and scale 50%)

-Open paper 10 and move to the bottom layer. Apply mask. Click HERE to learn how to use masks in Gimp.

 -Open template. Image>Canvas Size 600x600 px and click center.

-Let's add papers to the template layers. Make the template layer active (see below). Right click template layer in layer box and choose alpha to selection. Open paper (see below). Right click paper layer in layer box and choose add alpha channel. Select>Invert. Press delete on your keyboard. Select>None. Filters>Light & Shadow>Drop Shadow  2, 2, 5, black, 50. Delete the original template layer. Here are the template layers and which papers I used:

-Open frame 2. Move below the heart layers in the layer box. Scale 75%. Place in the center of the tag. Repeat drop shadow.

-Open frame 6. Make sure it is right above frame 2 in layer box. Scale 50%. Place to the top left of tag. Select the fuzzy select tool. Click inside the 1st part of frame. Select>Grow 5. Open paper 5. Move below the frame. Invert. Delete. Open tube. Place in selection. Delete. Select none. Change the mode to hard light. Repeat for the 2nd part of frame using paper 7. Change the mode of the tube to overlay. Repeat drop shadow on frame.
