This tutorial is of my own creation and any resemblance to any other tuts is purely coincidental. This tutorial is for personal use only, using it for monetary gain is against our TOU's.

Supplies Needed:

~Gimp (any version will do).

~Tube of choice. I used the artwork of Anna Marine, you must have a license to use this art which you can get from CDO HERE.

~Gypsy Road PTU scrapkit by Sweet Cravings Scraps.

~Mask of choice. I used WSL mask 364 which you can get HERE.

~Font of choice. I used Great Vibes.

Let's get started!!!!!

1. Open a new layer ( I prefer a large canvas, so I make mine 1050x656). Make your canvas transparent (Layer > Transparency > Color to alpha).

2. Open Frame 7 (window), add drop shadow (Filters > Light & Shadow > Drop Shadow).

3. Open Paper 12 center it behind Frame 7, remove excess paper using a cutting tool or eraser.

4. Open Frame 1 (round frame), place it under Frame 7 & Paper 12 in your layer box. Add drop shadow.

5. Open tube, add drop shadow.

6. Open and place the following elements:

Button 1
Books
Vine
Candle
Cards
Lantern
Lute
Skull
Mushrooms
Crystal Ball
Wooden Pig
Tin Cup
Flower 1
Flower 5
Raven
Butterfly 2

~Some elements may need to be sized down. Using the Scale Tool in your tool box adjust pixels to desired size~

~Add drop shadow to all elements~

7. Open Paper18

8. Open mask

9. Add mask to paper (click HERE for a tut on using masks).

10. Merge layers (Image > Merge Visible Layer).

11. Crop image (Image > Autocrop Image).

12. Scale image to desired size (Image > Scale Image).

13. Add copyright info and name.

14. Save as .png

Gimp or program of choice
PTU kit Golden Moments from Gimptastic Scraps
Tube of choice. I am using Pinuptoons. You must have a license to use these tubes. Purchase them at Creative Design Outlet
Template 135 by me HERE
Mask 194 from weescotslass
Font- Great Vibes

-Open template. Delete credits. Image>Scale Image 450x352 px. Image>Canvas Size 600x600 px and click center.
-Let's add papers to the template layers. Make the template layer active (see below). Right click template layer in layer box and choose alpha to selection. Open paper (see below). Right click paper layer in layer box and choose add alpha channel. Select>Invert. Press delete on your keyboard. Select>None. Delete the original template layer. Here are the template layers and which papers I used:
2- paper 1
5- paper 7
7- paper 2
8- paper 5 Filters>Light & Shadow>Drop Shadow 2, 2, 2, black, 50
9- paper 9 repeat drop shadow
10- paper 3 repeat drop shadow
11- paper 10
12- paper 4 repeat drop shadow
-Make layer 1 active. Alpha to selection. Change foreground color to b99e6f. Layer>New Layer. Select the bucket fill tool and fill selection. Select none. Delete layer 1. Filters>Noise>RGB Noise. Change all sliders (except alpha) to 0.30. Add drop shadow of 1, 1, 11 black, 50.
-Make layer 3 active. Alpha to selection. Add new layer.  Bucket fill selection with bo7e27. Select none. Add drop shadow of 2, 2, 2, black, 50.
-Repeat drop shadow on layers 4 & 6.
-Open tube. Make the top layer. Layer>Scale Layer 75%. Place tube in the center of tag. Repeat drop shadow. Layer>Duplicate Layer. Filters>Blur>Gaussian Blur on default. Change the mode of the duplicate tube to soft light. Lower the opacity to 65.
-Open frame 3. Move this layer below the tube layers. Scale 55%. Place frame to the left of tube. Select the magic wand and click in the 1st square of frame. Select>Grow 5. Add new layer and move layer below frame. Bucket fill with black. Open tube again and place her face in the selection. Invert & delete. Select none. Change the mode to value. Repeat for the pther square of frame, but this time bucket fill with bo7e27 and change the mode to hard light. On the frame add a drop shadow of 2, 2, 5, black, 50.

wine - rotate 15
sash

key - rotate 80

-Open paper 6. Make the bottom layer. Apply mask. Click HERE to learn how to use masks in gimp. Scale paper layer 85%. Repeat using paper 1.
-Add your name and copyright and you're finished!

Fonts- Sunshine In My Soul & Inspiration

-File>New 600x600 px.
-Open frame 2. Layer>Scale Layer 80%. Select the magic wand. Click inside the frame. Select>Grow 15. Open paper 4. Move below the frame layer. Layer>Transparency>Add Alpha Channel. Select>Invert. Press delete on your keyboard. Select>None. Filters>Light & Shadow>Drop Shadow 2, 2, 2 ,black, 50.
-Open frame 3. Make the top layer. Scale 55%. Select the flip tool and click canvas to flip the frame. Place to the far right side of the tag. Click inside frame using the magic wand. Grow by 3. Open paper 5 and move below heart frame. Add alpha channel. Invert & delete. Open tube. Make the top layer. Place tube in the selection (on top of heart frame). Layer>Duplicate Layer. Move the duplicate tube below the heart frame layer. Delete. Select>None. Make the top tube layer active. Using the eraser, erase just her left leg and leave the right on sticking out of the frame. Repeat drop shadow on the heart frame.
-Open leaf circle. Make the bottom layer. Scale 85%. Place in the center of tag.
-Open window. Bottom layer. Scale 85%. Place in the center of tag. Add drop shadow of 2,2, 10, black, 50.
Other elements:
bottle - flip
bottle 2 - rotate 15
flowers
tree
gourds

-Make the top layer active. Select the text tool. Font: Sunshine in my soul, Size: 65, foreground color: black. Click canvas and type 'Autumn'. Select the rotate tool and in the angle box put -90. Place text to the far left side of tag. Lower the opacity to 50.
-Add your name with the inspiration font. Also add your copyright and you're done!

Tube of choice. I am using the art of Elias Chatzoudis. You must have a license to use his tubes. Purcahse them at his store HERE.
Template 144 from me HERE
Mask 82 from weescotslass
Fonts- Allura, KG Eyes Wide Open and KG Payphone

-Open template. Delete credits. Image>Scale Image 450x342 px. Image>Canvas Size 600x600 px and click center.
-Let's add papers to the template layers. Make the template layer active (see below). Right click template layer in layer box and choose alpha to selection. Open paper (see below). Right click paper layer in layer box and choose add alpha channel. Select>Invert. Press delete on your keyboard. Select>None. Filters>Light & Shadow>Drop Shadow 2, 2, 5, black, 40. Delete the original template layer. Here are the template layers and which papers I used:
1- paper 3
2- paper 1
3- paper 10
4- paper 2
5- paper 9
6- paper 6
7- paper 4
-Open tube. Make the top layer. Layer>Scale Layer 80%. Place tube at the bottom of your tag. Add drop shadow of 2, 2, 5, black, 60. Layer>Duplicate Layer. Filters>Blur>Gaussian Blur on default. Change the mode of the layer to soft light.
-Open element 36 (white frame). Make the bottom layer. Scale 60%. Place to the top right of the tag. Select the magic wand and click inside the frame. Select>Grow 5. Open paper 7. Move paper layer below frame layer in layer box. Add alpha channel. Scale 65%. Place paper in selection. Invert & delete. Select none. Repeat drop shadow on frame.

-Open paper 10. Move to the bottom. Apply mask. Click HERE to learn how to use masks in gimp.
-Make the top layer active. Select the text tool. Font: Allura, Size 55, Foreground color white. Click canvas and type 'Waiting.....'. Place text to the bottom left of the tag. Layer>Layer To Image Size. Alpha to selection. Grow by 2. Layer>New ALyer. Move new layer below text layer. Change your foreground to 8759b8. Select the bucket fill tool and fill selection. Filters>Noise>RGB Noise. Change all sliders (except alpha) to 0.35. Select none. Add drop shadow of 2, 2, 5, black, 60.
-Still using the text tool, change your font to KG eyes Wide Open, Size: 35, Foreground: efoe51. Click canvas and type 'on prince charming'. Place this text below the waiting text. Layer to image size. Add new layer and move below current text layer. Alpha to selection. Grow by 1. Bucket fill selection with white. Select none. Repeat drop shadow.
-Add your name with the KG payphone font. Also add copyrights and you're done!

~Breathe Me PTU scrapkit by Tasha's Playground which you can get HERE.

~Tube of choice. I used the artwork of Gennadiy Koufay which you can get from CDO HERE.

~Mask of choice. I used WSL mask 254 which you can get HERE.

~Font of choice. I used Alex Brush.

Let's get started!!!!!

1. Open a new layer (I prefer a large canvas, so I make mine 1050x656). Make your canvas transparent (Layer > Transparency > Color to alpha).

2. Open Frame 3, I tilted the frame slightly using the rotate tool in the tool box. Add drop shadow (Filters > Light & Shadow > Drop Shadow).

3. Open Paper 1 center it behind frame, remove excess paper using a cutting tool or eraser.

4. Open tube.

~You will need to duplicate this tube so that you have 2 (at the bottom of your layer box click on the blue box. This will give you 2 tube layers).

~Select the top tube layer in your tool box. Add Gaussian Blur (Filters > Blur > Gaussian Blur, use default settings).

~On that same tube layer change the mode to Screen (at the top of your Layer Box you will see where it says Mode, click the arrow and select Screen from the drop down menu).

~Add drop shadow to bottom tube layer.

5. Open and place the following elements:

Flower 2
Flower 3
Flower 5
Old film
Heart
Branch
Deco 3
Clock
Brooch
Books
Candle 2
Cat
Phone

~Some elements may need to be sized down. Using the Scale Tool in your tool box adjust pixels to desired size~

~Add drop shadow to all elements~

6. Open Paper 9.

7. Open mask.

8. Add mask to paper (click HERE for a tut on using masks).

9. Merge layers (Image > Merge Visible Layer).

10. Crop image (Image > Autocrop Image).

11. Scale image to desired size (Image > Scale Image).

~Farewell Summer PTU scrapkit by A Taggers Scrap which you can get HERE.

~Font of choice. I used Alex Brush.

Let's get started!!!!!

1. Open a new layer ( I prefer a large canvas, so I make mine 1050x656). Make your canvas transparent (Layer > Transparency > Color to alpha).

2. Open Frame 10 (striped frame), add drop shadow (Filters > Light & Shadow > Drop Shadow). I tilted the frame slightly using the rotate tool in the tool box.

3. Open Paper 17 center it behind Frame 10, remove excess paper using a cutting tool or eraser.

4. Open Frame 8 (green frame), add drop shadow.

5. Open Paper 8 center it behind Frame 8, remove excess paper using a cutting tool or eraser.

6. Open tube.

~You will need to duplicate the tube so that you have 2 (at the bottom of your layer box click on the blue box. This will give you 2 tube layers).

~Select the top tube layer in your tool box. Add Gaussian Blur (Filters > Blur > Gaussian Blur, use default settings).

~On that same tube layer change the mode to Overlay (at the top of your Layer Box you will see where it says Mode, click the arrow and select Overlay from the drop down menu).

~Add drop shadow to the bottom layer of the tube.


7. Open and place the following elements:

Leaves 2
Doors
Tag 2
Bottle
Bag
Seed
Seed 2
Seed 3
Seeds
Flower 9
Flamingo
Butterfly 2
Birdhouse

~Some elements may need to be sized down. Using the Scale Tool in your tool box adjust pixels to desired size~

~Add drop shadow to all elements (except Leaves 2)~

8. Merge layers (Image > Merge Visible Layer).

9. Crop image (Image > Autocrop Image).

10. Scale image to desired size (Image > Scale Image).

11. Add copyright info and name.

12. Save as .png

~Urban Glam PTU scrapkit by Tasha's Playground which you can get HERE.

~Tube of choice. I used the artwork of Alexander McMillan, you must have a license to use this art which you can get @ SATC HERE.

~Template of choice. I used Rosey's template 128 which you can get HERE.

~Mask of choice. I used WSL mask 302 which you can get HERE.

~Font of choice. I used Sick Capital Vice.

Let's get started!!!

1. Open a new layer (I prefer a large canvas, so I make mine 1050x656). Make your canvas transparent (Layer > Transparency > Color to Alpha).

2. Open template in PSD format, move layers of template around until they are the way you like them.

~Add paper from scrapkit to individual layers of the template (Right click on template layer in layer box > Alpha to Selection > CTRL I > Select paper layer in layer box > Delete).

These are the papers I used:

Paper 2
Paper 3
Paper 4
Paper 5
Paper 11

~I added noise to some of the template layers to make them look glittery (Filters > Noise > RGB Noise).

~I added a bevel effect to some of the template layers (Filters > Decor > Add Bevel).

~I colorized some of the template layers to better match the scrapkit (Colors > Colorize > play with the setting until you get the desired color).


~Add drop shadow to template layers (Filters > Light & Shadow > Drop Shadow).

3. Open tube, add drop shadow.

4. Open and place the following elements:

Broken Glass
Record
Deco
Skull
Heart
Perfume
Flower
Pills
Flatiron
Can
Star
Star 2
Warning Label
Collar

~Some of the elements may need to be sized down. Using your scale tool in your tool box adjust the pixel size until element is the correct size~

~Add drop shadow to all elements (except Broken Glass)~

5. Open Paper 1

6. Open mask

7. Add mask to paper (click HERE for a tut on using masks).

8. Merge Layers (Image > Merge Visible Layers).

9. Crop Image (Image > Autocrop Image).

10. Scale image to desired size (Image > Scale Image).

11. Add copyright info and name.

12. Save as .png

-Open frame 2. Layer>Scale Layer 60%. Select the magic wand. Click inside the 1st box of frame. Select>Grow 5. Open paper 2. Move paper layer below frame layer in layer box. Layer>Transparency>Add Alpha Channel. Select>Invert. Press delete on keyboard. Open tube close up. Place in selection. Delete. Select>None. Change the mode to overlay. Repeat above for 2nd box of frame. Make the frame layer active. Filters>Light & Shadow>Drop Shadow 3, 3, 10, black, 80.
-Open frame 1. Make the bottom layer. Select the rotate tool. Click canvas. In the angle box put -15. Scale 50%. Place in center of tag. Add paper 3 to frame (repeat above). Repeat drop shadow.
-Open full tube. Make the top layer. Scale 60%.Place in center of tag. Repeat drop shadow.
-Open parchment.Make bottom layer. Scale 65%. Place center of tag. Repeat drop shadow.
-Open jewels. Move below tube layer.Scale 50%. Rotate 90. Place to the bottom left of tag. Layer>Duplicate Layer. Scale 75%. Place duplicate to the top right of tag. Repeat drop shadow on both.
-Open spider. Top layer. Scale 35%. Place to the right of tag. Repeat drop shadow.
-Open bushed frame. Move layer above parchment. Scale 80%. Place in center of tag.
-Open leaves. Move this layer below jewels. Scale 65%. Place at the bottom of tag. Repeat drop shadow.
-Open string. Move below leaves. Scale 65%. Place to the left side of tag. Repeat drop shadow.
-Open chain. Move below leaves. Scale 50%. Place at bottom.
-Open paper 5. Make the bottom layer. Apply mask. Click HERE to learn how to use masks.
-Make the top layer active. Select the text tool. Font: BigNoodleTitling, Size: 100, Foreground color: 047bb7. Type 'Salute'. Rotate -90. Place text to the left side of tag. Layer>Tranparency>Alpha To Selection. Grow 4. Layer>New Layer. Move new layer below test layer. Change foreground to black. Select the bucket fill tool and fill seleciton. Select none. Filters>Blur>Gaussian Blur 10.0.
-Make the top layer active. Make the text tool active. Font: Secret Recipe, Size: 70, Foreground: ad2a2c. Type 'one finger'. Rotate -90. Place on top of  Salute. Alpha to selection. Grow 2. Bucket fill selection with white. Select none. Add drop shadow of 2, 2, 2, black, 50. Layer>Merge Down. Lower the opacity to 60.
-Add name with the Petra Script font and also add copyright.
