This tutorial is of my own creation and any resemblance to any other tuts is purely coincidental. This tutorial is for personal use only, using it for monetary gain is against our TOU's. Supplies: Gimp- Any version should work Beautiful FTU scrap kit from Cinnamon Scraps called 'Green Galore' HERE Tube of choice. I am using Elias Chatzoudis. You must have a license to use his tubes. You can purchase them HERE Template 36 by me (Leah) HERE Fonts- Schnookums, Mail Ray Stuff & Will&Grace Let's get started! -Open template. Delete the credits, words and bears 1 & 2 layers. Image>Scale Image 500x480 pixels. Image>Canvas Size 600x600 pixels and make sure to click center. -Let's add papers to the template layers. Make the template layer active (see below). Right click template layer in layer box and choose alpha to selection. Open paper (see below). Right click paper layer in layer box and choose add alpha channel. Layer>Scale Layer by 60%. Select>Invert. Press delete on your keyboard. Select>None. Delete the original template layer. Here are the template layers and which papers I used: square 1- paper 2 square 2- paper 10 circle 1- paper 5 Filters>Light & Shadow>Drop Shadow 2, 2, 10, black, 80 circle 2- paper 1 Filters>Repeat Drop Shadow rect 1- paper 14 repeat drop shadow rect 2- paper 13 repeat drop shadow rect 3- paper 4 repeat drop shadow -Make frame 1 #1 layer active. Colors>Colorize Hue 180 Saturation 50 Lightness -100 Repeat drop shadow -Make frame 1 layer active. Colorize. Hue 75 Saturation 59 Lightness -26 Repeat drop shadow -Open tube. Move this to the 2nd later in the layer box. Layer>Duplicate Layer. Hide the duplicate tube by clicking theeye next to it in the layer box. Place the original tube in smaller square on the green paper. Make sure it is below the frame layer. Make the green paper layer active. Alpha to selection. Make the tube active. Invert and press delete. Select none. Change the mode to multiply. Lower the opacity to 60. Unhide the duplicate tube. Move tube layer just above the black square paper in the layer box. Repeat the above to this tube. -Open tube again. Scale by 75%. Move layer to the top. Add drop shadow of 2, 2, 2, black, 50. Duplicate. Move duplicate layer under green frame in layer box. Make the black paper (paper 10) active. Alpha to selection. Make the tube active. Invert and press delete. Select none. Make the original tube layer active. Erase the bottom part of the tube so it look like she is sticking out of the frame. Elements Add a drop shadow of 2, 2, 2, black, 50 to each element layer. See my tag for placement. frame 4- scale 75% mesh- scale 50% NO drop shadow flower ribbon 1- scale 30% flower 5- scale 25% ribbon 2- scale 35% tag 1- scale 50% frame 7- scale 50% paper heart 2- scale 20% flower 7- scale 30% bird- scale 30% beaded charm- scale 50% leaves 2- scale 50% -Using the Schnookums font, size 100, foreground color a6daef, type out 'Sweet'. Alpha to selection. Add new layer below this layer. Select>Grow by 1. Using the bucket fill tool, fill the selection with black. Select none and repeat frop shadow. -Using the mail ray stuff font, size 60, foreground color c7db3d type 'pea'. Alpha to selection. Add new layer below this layer. Grow by 1. Fill selection with black. Select none and repeat drop shadow. -Add your name and copyright. All finished!
