Check out these cuties from Lix, they come in a awesome pack that includes a total of 9 different tubes. That's right, I said 9!!!!! All 9 for 1 low price, you can't beat it. Make sure to stop by the new releases section @ PSP Tubes Emporium.

I made some extras for all you, click on the tag to grab the full size version. Do NOT alter these in any way.




This tutorial is of my own creation and any resemblance to any other tuts is purely coincidental. This tutorial is for personal use only, using it for monetary gain is against our TOU's.

Supplies Needed:

~Gimp (any version will do).

~Tube of choice. I used the artwork of Simon Han, you must have a license to use this art which you can get from PSP Tubes Emporium HERE.

~Under the Sea PTU scrapkit by A Taggers Scrap.

~Mask of choice. I used mask 17 which you can get from HorsePlay's Pasture HERE.

~Font of choice. I used 1 Snappy DNA.

Let's get started!!!!!

1. Open a new layer ( I prefer a large canvas, so I make mine 1050x656). Make your canvas transparent (Layer > Transparency > Color to alpha).

2. Open Frame 9, add drop shadow (Filters > Light & Shadow > Drop Shadow).

3. Open Paper 30 center it behind Frame 9, remove excess paper using a cutting tool or eraser.

4. Open Frame 2, place it over Frame 9 & Paper 30 in your layer box. Add drop shadow.

5. Open tube, add drop shadow.

6. Open and place the following elements:

Wave
 Fish 2
Fish 10
Jellyfish
Seagrass
Seagull
Paper word
Bottle 3
Pebble 4
Pebble 5
Bow 7
Lantern
Drink
Flower 5

~Some elements may need to be sized down. Using the Scale Tool in your tool box adjust pixels to desired size~

~Add drop shadow to all elements (except Wave)~

7. Open Paper 5

8. Open mask

9. Add mask to paper (click HERE for a tut on using masks).

10. Merge layers (Image > Merge Visible Layer).

11. Crop image (Image > Autocrop Image).

12. Scale image to desired size (Image > Scale Image).

13. Add copyright info and name.

14. Save as .png

You are finished :)

Tube of choice. I am using the art of Zlata M. You must have a license to use her tubes. You can purchase the one I used at The PSP Project.
Fonts- Jenna Sue & Japan
-Open template. Delete credits. Image>Scale Image 450x258 px. Image>Canvas Size 600x600 px and click center.
-Let's add papers to the template layers. Make the template layer active (see below). Right click template layer in layer box and choose alpha to selection. Open paper (see below). Right click paper layer in layer box and choose add alpha channel. Select>Invert. Press delete on your keyboard. Select>None. FIlters>Light & Shadow>Drop Shadow 0, 0, 5, black, 80. Delete the original template layer.Here are the template layers and which papers I used:
circle 1- paper 3
circle 2- paper 4
circle 3 & circle 4- paper 8
circle 5 & circle 6- paper 7
rect- paper 2
-Open the tube layer. Make the top layer. Layer>Scale Layer 60%. Place in the center of tag. Repeat drop shadow.
-Open leaf 2. Make the top layer. Place at the bottom of the tube. Layer>Duplicate Layer. Move duplicate under the tube layer. Repeat drop shadow. Make the top leaf layer active. Erase the part of the leaf covering the tubes hand. Make the tube active. Erase the bottom half sticking below the leaf.

-Make the text tool active. Font: Jenna Sue. Size 100. Foreground color 60d213. Click canvas and type 'Aloha'. Place text at the bottom of tag. Alpha to selection. Grow by 2. Layer>New Layer. Move new layer below text layer. Foreground: c1244f. Select the bucket fill tool and fill selection. Select none. Filters>Noise>RGB Noise. Change all sliders (except alpha) to 0.30. Repeat drop shadow.
-Add your name with the Japan font. Also add copyright.

-File>New 600x600 px.
-Open frame 3. Layer>Scale Layer 60%. Center frame on canvas. Select the magic wand and click inside the frame. Select>Grow 5. Open paper 4. Move paper layer below frame layer. Layer>Transparency>Add Alpha Channel. Select>Invert. Press delete on keyboard. Select>None. Make the frame layer active. Filters>Light & Shadow>Drop Shadow 2, 2, 1, black, 50.
-Open frame 5. Make the bottom layer. Scale 60%. Center frame on canvas. Add drop shadow of 0, 0, 10, black, 80.
-Open tab. Move below the paper layer. Center on canvas. Layer>Duplicate Layer. Select the rotate tool and click canvas. In the angle box put 90. Center on canvas. Repeat drop shadow on both these layers.
-Open pent. Move below the paper layer. Scale 75%. Center on canvas. Add drop shadow of 2, 2, 2, black, 50.
-Open tab back. Make the bottom layer. Scale 65%. Rotate -10. Center on canvas. Repeat drop shadow.
-Open tube. Make the top layer. Scale 85%. Place in the center of tag. Repeat drop shadow. Duplicate. Filters>Blur>Gaussian Blur on default. Change the mode to soft light and lower the opacity to 35.

Tube of choice. Iam using the art of Elias Chatzoudis. You must have a license to use these tubes.. Purchase them at PSP Tubes Emporium
Mask 81 from weescotslass
Font- Simply Glamorous

-File>New 600x600 px.
Open patriotic frame 1. Layer>Scale Layer 17%. Place to the center left of canvas. Select the magic wand and click inside the frame. Select>Grw 5. Open paper 6. Move paper layer below frame layer in layer box. Layer>Transparency>Add Alpha Channel. Select>Invert. Press delete on keyboard. Select>None. Make the frame layer active. Filters>Light & Shadow>Drop Shadow 2, 2, 2, black, 50.
-Open patriotic frame round 1. Scale 25%. Place to the center, right side of canvas. Add paper 3 (repeat above). Repeat drop shadow on frame.
-Open tube. Make the top layer. Scale 75%. Place in the middle of tag. Layer>Transparency>Alpha To Selection. Grow 2. Layer>New Layer. Move new layer below tube layer. Change foreground to white. Select the bucket fill tool and fill selection. Grow 2. Add new layer. Move layer below current active layer. Foreground: a41014. Background: 003286. Select the blend tool. Gradietn: FG TO BG (RGB). Shape: Linear. Click the middle left side of the selection a drag to the middle right side. Select none. FIlters>Noise>RGB Noise. Change all sliders (except alpha) to 0.35. Repeat drop shadow.
-Make tube layer active. Layer>Duplicate Layer. Filters>Blur>Gaussian Blur on default. Change the mode to soft light. Lower the opacity to 85.
-Open frame 3. Make the bottom layer. Scale 30%. Select the rotate tool and click canvas. In the angle box put -10. Center on tag. Repeat drop shadow.

~The Red, White & Blue FTU scrapkit which you can get from Tasha's Playground HERE.

~Mask of choice. I used WSL mask 84 which you can get HERE.

~Font of choice. I used Signerica Fat.

Let's get started!!!!!

1. Open a new layer ( I prefer a large canvas, so I make mine 1050x656). Make your canvas transparent (Layer > Transparency > Color to alpha).

2. Open Frame 1, add drop shadow (Filters > Light & Shadow > Drop Shadow).

3. Open Paper 10 center it behind frame, remove excess paper using a cutting tool or eraser.

4. Open tube, add drop shadow.

5. Open and place the following elements:

Wordart
Star1
Star2
Star4
Torch
Hat

~Some elements may need to be sized down. Using the Scale Tool in your tool box adjust pixels to desired size~

~Add drop shadow to all elements (except Wordart & Firework2)~

6. Open Paper 7.

8. Add mask to paper (click HERE for a tut on using masks).

9. Merge layers (Image > Merge Visible Layer).

10. Crop image (Image > Autocrop Image).

11. Scale image to desired size (Image > Scale Image).

12. Add copyright info and name.

13. Save as .png

-Open template. Delete credits. Image>Scale Image 450x490 px. Image>Canvas Size 600x600 px and click center.
-Let's add papers to the template layers. Make the template layer active (see below). Right click template layer in layer box and choose alpha to selection. Open paper (see below). Right click paper layer in layer box and choose add alpha channel. Select>Invert. Press delete on your keyboard. Select>None. FIlters>Light & Shadow>Drop Shadow 2, 2, 2, black, 50. Delete the original template layer.Here are the template layers and which papers I used:

Open frame 3. Make the bottom layer. Scale 75%. Place in center of tag. Repeat drop shadow.

Select>Grow 5. Open paper 8. Move paper layer below frame layer. Add alpha channel. Scale 65%. Invert & delete. Select none. Make the frame layer active and repeat drop shadow.

Click the top right of selection with your mouse and drag it down to the bottom right of selection. FIlters>Noise>RGB Noise. Change all sliders (except alpha) to 0.40. Grow by 2. Add new layer. Move new layer below current active layer. Change your foreground color to white. Select the bucket fill tool and fill selection. Select none. Repeat drop shadow.
-Add name with KG Payphone font. Add your copyright.

~Denim Days FTU scrapkit by Tasha's Playground which you can get HERE.

~Font of choice. I used MTF Cutie Patootie.

Let's get started!!!!!

1. Open a new layer ( I prefer a large canvas, so I make mine 1050x656). Make your canvas transparent (Layer > Transparency > Color to alpha).

2. Open Frame 2 (yellow frame), add drop shadow (Filters > Light & Shadow > Drop Shadow).

3. Open Paper 2 center it behind frame, remove excess paper using a cutting tool or eraser.

4. Open Frame 1 (blue frame), add drop shadow.

5. Open Paper 10 center it behind frame, remove excess paper using a cutting tool or eraser.

6. Open tube

~You will need to duplicate this tube so that you have 2 (at the bottom of your layer box click on the blue box. This will give you 2 tube layers).

~Select the top tube layer in your tool box. Add Gaussian Blur (Filters > Blur > Gaussian Blur, use default settings).

~On that same tube layer change the mode to Overlay (at the top of your Layer Box you will see where it says Mode, click the arrow and select Overlay from the drop down menu).

~Add drop shadow to bottom tube layer.

7. Open and place the following elements:

Strap
Bubbles
Kitty
Flower2
Flower3
Flower4
Heart
Cloud
Jar
Bucket
Mushroom

~Some elements may need to be sized down. Using the Scale Tool in your tool box adjust pixels to desired size~

~Add drop shadow to all elements (except Bubbles)~

8. Merge layers (Image > Merge Visible Layer).

9. Crop image (Image > Autocrop Image).

10. Scale image to desired size (Image > Scale Image).

11. Add copyright info and name.

12. Save as .png

-File>New 600x600 px.
-Open frame 1. Layer>Scale Layer 65%. Center on canvas. Select the magic wand. Click insdie the frame. Select>Grow by 5. Open paper 8. Move paper layer below frame layer in layer box. Layer>Transparency>Add Alpha Channel. Select>Invert. Press delete on keyboard. Select>None.
-Open frame 2. Make the bottom layer. Scale 75%. Center on canvas. Filters>Light & Shadow>Drop Shadow 0, 0, 10, black, 50.
-Open frame 4. Make the bottom layer. Select the rotate tool and click canvas. In the angle box put 90. Scale 75%. Center on canvas. Add paper 2 to this frame (repeat above). Add drop shadow of 2, 2, 2, black, 50.
-Open tube. Makethe top layer. Center on tag. Repeat drop shadow.

-Make the top layer active. Select the text tool. Set your font to Luckiest Guy, Size 65. Click canvas and type name. Place text to the bottom left of tag. Layer>Transparency>Alpha To Selection. Open paper 5. Add alpha channel. Scale 50%. Place paper on seleciton. Invert & delete. Layer>New alyer. Move new layer below text layer. Invert. Grow by 2. Set your foreground color to white. Select the bucket fill tool and fill selection. Select none. Repeat drop shadow. Make the top name layer (paper) active. Filters>Decor>Add Bevel. Uncheck work on copy.
-Open paper 7. Apply mask. Click HERE to learn how to use masks.
-Add your copyright and you're done!!!

Supplies Needed:

~Gimp (any version will do).

~Happy 4th! PTU scrapkit by Sarah's Tags N Things which you can get from PSP Tubes Emporium HERE.

~Tube of choice. I used the artwork of Shawli. You must have a license to use this art which you can also get from PSP Tubes Emporium HERE.

~Template of choice. I used Leah's Template 78 which you can get on our blog HERE.

~Font of choice. I used Napoleon-BOLD.

Let's get started!!!

1. Open a new layer ( I prefer a large canvas, so I make mine 1050x656). Make your canvas transparent (Layer > Transparency > Color to Alpha).

2. Open template in PSD format, move layers of template around until they are the way you like them.

~Add paper from scrapkit to individual layers of the template (Right click on template layer in layer box > Alpha to Selection > CTRL I > Select paper layer in layer box > Delete).

These are the papers I used:

Paper 2
Paper 3
Paper 5
Paper 6
Paper 7

~I colorized some of the template layers to better match the scrapkit (Colors > Colorize > play with the setting until you get the desired color).

~Add drop shadow to template layers (Filters > Light & Shadow > Drop Shadow).

3. Open tubes, I used both a full body and 2 close-ups. I changed the mode on the close-ups to Screen (at the top of your Layer Box you will see where it says Mode, click the arrow and select Screen from the drop down menu). The close-ups have been added to the template in the same way you add paper (Right click on template layer in layer box > Alpha to Selection > CTRL I > Select tube layer in layer box > Delete). Add drop shadow to full body tube.

4. Open and place the following elements:

Star spiral
Sparkler
USA
Candle
Pinwheel
Blue cup
Hotdog
Eagle
Hat

~Some of the elements may need to be sized down. Using your scale tool in your tool box adjust the pixel size until element is the correct size~

~Add drop shadow to all elements (except Star spiral & Sparkler)~

5. Merge Layers (Image > Merge Visible Layers).

6. Crop Image (Image > Autocrop Image).

7. Scale image to desired size (Image > Scale Image).

8. Add copyright info and name

9. Save as .png

ALL DONE!!!!!!!!!!
